High octane fuels my morning brew
Starts my motor at full throttle
Monster drinks straight from the bottle
Off to my lab, hopped up, askew
But calmer hands, my work demands
My scalpel cuts must all run true
Or Franky boy will only waddle
His octane needs a morning brew
At last, there’s time for some fun!
You can have some high octane too at dversepoets.com
I’m laughing, Frankenstein. Amazed how well the form works for humor, too. Made me think of one of my favorite movies–Young Frankenstein.
I liked that one too Victoria. One of Gene Wilder’s best performances. Thanks Victoria
This is really fun and I love your wordplay with “octane.” And hey, I love that “Young Frankenstein” movie too!

I like the part at where the monster sings and tap dances with Gene Wilder, thanks Gayle
