The challenge at dverse is to write a poem with musical notation or genre:
Boldly mix two cups of audace
Shake in just a pinch of amoroso
The staccato will be quite spicy.
If you stir slowly, the adagio will thicken
To avoid this add a jigger of dolce
Then cut with two tbs of andante
Serve allegro or chill to callando
Soften before serving with diminuendo
Love this, especially:
“The staccato will be quite spicy.”
Thanks Whimsy
There is a dessert wine called “Dolce.” It is amazing but will cost you a month’s mortgage. Clever one, Walt–continuing the recipe theme.
Thanks Victoria, we always just get the cheap stuff.
WOW!!❤️
Thanks Sanaa, that was definitely a tossed salad
Love that dolce
Can’t afford it, we just go with the cheap stuff. Thanks Bjorn
A bilingual recipe — playfully fun
Thanks Sabio. I never saw it as bilingual. I don’t know anything about musical notation. it’s all Greek to me 😅
Fruity…in a musical sort of way 😉
kind of nutty like me
…and I’ll take a fermata on the side! 🙂
It looks like everyone takes a particular line that is a treat to them in the reading, and as for me, it is “If you stir slowly, the adagio will thicken.”…perfecto! Musical gravy!
